UAAP: Adamson wins after 2nd game with FEU

Rookie, Erelon nailed the biggest last shot that turned the Falcons’ win, Erelon passed from a tight guard Jerome Lastimosa then hit a three-point guard shot that avenged their defeat in the 1st round with the Tamaraws.

This gave Soaring Falcons’ a dramatic win after a five-game losing streak. Adamson climbed to 2-6 while passing FEU’s fifth loss in eight consecutive games.

With the win, Adamson finally scored up to 2-6 in the team standings, while the FEU tamaraws, got  its second straight loss  3-5.

Falling off with the series of devastating losses the Adamson still won, terminating at every turn and drove FEU by upwards as many as 14 points, 31-17, with 6:57 to play in the second quarter.


However, the adamson failed to look after its double-digit advantage, as FEU handled to steal the lead, 46-45, with under three minutes left in the third period, the game was to-and-fro all throughout the fourth and final game the Soaring Falcons ahead by 1, 61-60, LJay Gonzales delivered three straight points for the Tamaraws to put them up by 2, 62-61, with just 10 seconds remaining.

Unluckily, Erolon changed over on the cutthroat game-dominating three-pointer in the following belonging, before Manzano put the last little details in the accompanying play with a take on Emman Ojuola.

Gonzales paced the Tamaraws with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assist, while Abarrientos contributed 15 markers.

 

Ojuola, in the meantime, recorded another beast twofold of 13 points and 17 rebounds in the losing effort.


The Soaring Falcon will be against the NU Bulldogs this upcoming April 19, Tuesday, at & p.m, while the Tamaraws go against the UP Maroon on the same day at 10 p.m.
