Gunshot attacks at Presidential bet Ka- Leody De Guzman during his visit in Bukidnon

Five people were injured due to gunshots during the visit of Ka Leody’s camp in ancestral land of Manobo Tribe in Quezon, Bukidnon on Tuesday, April 19.

The Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM) campaign team confirmed that during a protest by Manobo-Pulangiyon IP community with Ka Leody against land grabbing of their ancestral land, a shooting incident happened where five individuals were hurt, including the leader of  Manobo-Pulangiyon tribe.

De Guzman was unharmed in the said incident. In a tweet, De Guzman confirmed that he along with Cabonegro and D’angelo were safe. “Ako po at sila kasamang Roy Cabonegro at David D’angelo ay ligtas,” he said.

In a statement by Presidential Spokesperson Jose Martin M. Andanar, he requested for local authorities to investigate and charge those who are behind the firing incident.
