Millions of citizens in Shanghai, China, are suffering from a shortage of medical care and essential supplies due to the city's lockdown, which began in late March.

According to Wang Zhumin, her 77-year-old father, who required dialysis three times a week, has been unable to acquire treatment for the previous seven days.

Lucy Lu and her parents have been under complete lockdown since March, and local officials have distributed only one food package in the past 20 days.

As protesters screamed from their houses, "we want supplies," a video shared on the Chinese social media network Weibo showed a drone urging that they stop protesting.
Some of the residents in Shanghai use social media to protest the issue and share their experiences living under strictly lockdown situations.
