Camps of presidential candidates Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso and Senator Panfilo Lacson are eager to blame the media for the alleged anti-Robredo during their Easter Sunday press conference held in The Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati, Monday, April 17, 2022.

In a March survey conducted by Pulse Asia, who trails Vice President Leni Robredo by 16 percentage points, he called on her to withdraw from the presidential campaign. Mayor Isko  says that Robredo's campaign approaches are working in favor of the Marcos campaign.

The three aspirants immediately turned the tables on Robredo, who is now ranked second in presidential primaries, although considerably behind leading candidate, former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Lacson said “That’s the reason why we are here… there are other options… It’s not all about against Leni. It’s not all about against Marcos or for Marcos or for Leni. This is offering other options.”

Moreno, Lacson, Pacquiao, and Gonzales are also committed to defend their interests to prevent any attempt to manipulate the people's will through prior tactics or other means.

They also pledged to serve in the government of whoever is elected as the country's next president by the citizens.

Moreno said,.“I’m calling for Leni to withdraw kasi (because) whatever she is doing is not effective against Marcos. Withdraw [your candidacy], come and join us”.
