The Golden State Warriors take the lead (1-0) on their series against the Dallas Mavericks as the Splash brothers took things to a next level making field goal after field goal.

After having a slow start in the first half, Stephen Curry started to catch fire in the third quarter sparking the 10-2 run by the warriors and topping it off with a clutch three from the top of the key. He scored a double-double of 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

Andrew Wiggins also played an exceptional performance contributing 19 points and stopping the Luka Magic with his phenomenal defense. This was then later praised by their head coach, Steve Kerr, saying, 'I thought Wiggs was fantastic; Doncic is as difficult a cover as there is in this league. ... It's important to make him work. He's so good. Any great player in the league you're trying to limit the damage that they do.''

On the other hand, Luka’s 20 points were earned the hard way however, he states that despite the loss, “They [Golden State Warriors] did a great job” showing respect to the opposing team.

The Mavericks were not able to keep up with the fast-paced attacks and changes in style that led to them feeling overwhelmed and losing on a blowout 25-point lead by the Warriors 112-87
