The Blackwater Bossing endows themselves as they select Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser on their first pick in the 2022 PBA draft.

Brandon is a 6 foot 7 inches all-around athletic stretch forward who may be referred to as the new and stronger Joe Devance. He is fresh to come from the 3x3 Men’s Basketball Southeast Asian Games with a Bronze medal.

With him on the roster, it will be expected of him to make the team tougher defensively and more lethal on the offense.

On the other hand, As surprising as it was, the Terrafirma who could use the help as soon as possible selects Jeremiah Gray, who currently suffers from an ACL injury. He was then traded by the Terrafirma Dyip in exchange for Ginebra's 8th pick, Javi Gomez de Liaño and Brian Enriquez.

Tim Cone, the head coach of Barangay Ginebra, says that “Obviously, Jeremiah is a talent we’re ready to wait for. Reports are that he may be out a whole year from now, but he is young and we’re an established team who can wait.”

And when asked about his thoughts on losing Brian Enriquez, he replied “And Brian is going to surprise a lot of people. He may be the steal in that trade. We will miss Brian. He was one of our hardest workers.”

The surprising turn of events, or should I say, selection and trades, may have altered the future path of the participating teams but still, we can expect that all the selected players will be laying it all out to prove that they deserve their spot on the roster.
